Hi everybody, The issue of components and modules for kit expansion has come up a lot lately (actually, it always does). I happen to have a 12" tubular Pintech Dingbat--like the Yamaha BP-80, except that it's single-zone-- for sale, along with the composite clamp (LMC) that attaches directly to it, and the 7/8" extension tube that connects it to a rack clamp. This assembly would cost about $49-$50 new; I'll part with it for $35. It's in fine condition. If you look closely, the rubber on the Dingbat has a few stick marks on it. What else would you expect? I replaced the original plastic tightening knob on the LMC with a wingnut and bolt, either because I hate plastic, or the plastic lost its threads. I don't remember. The extension rod is a tight fit into the LMC, anyway. You'll have to coax it through the opening to get it where you want. The Dingbat triggers well with Yamaha electronics, and because it's long and thin, it's easier to fit into a tight situation on the rack than a typical pad or cymbal. You can use it for anything, but I aways preferred percussion, splash-type cymbals, or even a high hat, since the Dingbat's rounded surface simulates an edge better than many pads that entry-level kits typically use for a hi hat cymbal. I offer it to the group first before going to ebay. If you're interested, e-mail me privately. I can also send you a stock picture of it by attachment, or you can go to Pintech's site, Drumbalaya, etc., to see one. By the way, I'm in Massachusetts. I will sell to Europe only if buyer pays my way, and my family's, for a personal delivery. Ed
