RE: Spam:[DTXpress] having a hard time getting the Roland KD-80 to work right?

Chat,

Welcome, glad you found us.

You might want to try changing the trigger type from KP to RHP Kick or
DT Kick or one of the misc 1-6 trigger options to see if you get better
performance.

From what I have heard about Sweetwater is they stand behind their sales
and support team. If you can't get it to work, I would make them take it
back for no charge, since they did tell you "it would work".

work right?

Just joined this group today having found you all by accident. I
recently purchased the Roland KD-80 kick trigger (v-drum)and was
dissappointed with the compatability when i plugged it into the
DTEXPRESS111 module. After being told by sweetwater sound it would
work."it's just a trigger there's no mystery to it" Here's the
problem.
I play double bass and alot of syncapated rythms with my single pedal
as well the KD-80 will not register every beat it skips every other
beat. I tried changing the input gain, minimum velocity and velocity
curve as outlined on pages 38-39 in the manual with no resolution.Any
body have any suggestions before i box this up and send it back. and
loose 10 to 20% plus postage.

respectfully submitted,
chat
