You can trigger wav files from a PC, given the right software. I use 
Battery 2 for the electronic stuff, and DfH Superior for the acoustic 
sounds. MIDI files will work only with programs like Ableton Live

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
