Beringer's products had a terrible history of unreliability (and other 
unseemly characteristics that we need not mention). The company seems 
to have improved lately in that respect. No one on this board who 
bought the KX1200 has had any complaints about it. In fact, despite my 
skepticism, many of the seasoned veterans in the group have had only 
praise for it.
