Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I'm looking at using one of these to trigger sounds in Drums From Hell Superior software.
Can anyone on the list testify to a triggering speed advantage via midi of the DTXpress 
module versus the Roland TD-3 module?  Or for that matter, how the DTXpress (V1) 
compares to the TD-3?
