Yes as far as I'm aware.  If I change the channel in Cubase and click 
on the kick drum in the drum editor it will trigger other midi sound 
from my Dtxpress like piano, bass etc, just no drum sounds.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
