I haven't been here in a long time, been very busy enjoying my DTXtremeIIs in live gig situations, and let me tell you... after neary 30 years as an acoustic player, messing with drum mics, EQs, compressors, etc... I am in love with this module. (i use the module only not the pads, although i like the yamaha pads but not for live) Anyway.... big question here... I've mostly worked with mixing and matching, and combining stock sounds, with little experimentation with FX. We are introducing a song and I NEED a certain snare sound w/FX. It'll probably take me years to figure out, but I'm sure there are some experts here that can give me exact instruction on how to re-create the sound I need. Listen to the song Pour Some Sugar on Me, by Def Leppard. Forgetting about the snare sound through most of the song, fast forward to 2:50 where for the first of several times, there is an additional snare sound. It sounds like some kind of reverse flange/reverb mix or something. Well, I need that puppy! Can anyone recreate that in a single stick strike and send me the settings? Thanks muchly!
