Hi all, After 2 years of drumming (all with the DTXpress) I finally joined a band and last night had my first practice with them. Unlike my drumming, the DTXpress performed faultlessly. We are finding our way - I have never played with anyone, they have never played with a drummer, but one problem we had was each hearing the right balance of what was going on. I could hear the lead guitar better than my own drums, the bass guitarist could hear my drums but not the lead guitar etc. Some of these problems could be solved with better room layout which we will try next time, but I wondered if a mixer and single amp might be better to control than the four amps we were using (with the keyboard players plugged through my aux port). Another option is for me to use headphones and a mixer so I can balance my drums better for me to listen to, but that would need me to plug into each amp (or use a mic to feed into a small mixer). Any suggestions gratefully received. By the way, my Logitech Z2300 speakers worked well and the electronic drum kit was well accepted to the rest of the band who thought it sounded great. Keith.
