What I do is download my fave tunes in *.mid & *.kar format onto my 
laptop and play them with a freeware player called Van Basco's 
Karaoke player. It has a feature where you can mute individual 
instruments. Just plug your PC into your amplifier or the DTX, start 
the song and mute the drum track - & bang away. You can download 
thousands of songs for free. 
To save the track as a drumless track you can use midi editing 
software or I just use Windows XP sound recorder and record it as a 
*.wav file then convert to an MP3. (Note* you need to open an 
existing wave file in Sound Recorder and record over the top of it. 
Sound Recorder has a 60 second recording time limit - so - open a 4 
minute song and when your done choose "save as..." for your new song!)
