Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Ok, a bit off topic, but I am wanting to expand my musical ability and
the sound of my band (well three of us - me, bass guitar and lead
guitar - just for fun).  Any opinions on either option, or any other
suggestions gratefully received (such as don't be silly - learn how to
drum properly first).
