hello, i am francisco lacerda and i am a new member of this forum. i am sorry to be bothering you with questions you have read a thousand times. i am trying to connect the dtxpress III module to the pc via usb-midi- in-midi-out cable and i am trying to connect it to cubase sx or live 6 to triger samples or midi sounds but i have never get any sound of it. i have try everything and even read almost every post of this news group but i came to no conclusion. what happen to me is that the cubase sx and live 6 dont recognise the module. i have already install the yamaha cbx drivers, put the module in pc1 option, assingn channel 10, etc, etc. in live, the cbx drivers happears and i assign it to the in and out possibilities but it doesnt recognise it. when i try to map the midi is doesnt let me. in cubase sx... well i cannot do it also because i dont know how. i have a sonar 5 copy and i am going to try on it but if i cant get tp recognise it in the other two it seems i will fail again. i am also new to midi external devices. already bought a book about midi but nothing. am i missing something? is there any step by step tutorial that can help? i am trying this because i need lunch some samples or midi at my live gig with my band. i have been using a sequencer and a click track but my band members complane that this is not organic and when i miss any time... its a disgrace. please, help me!!!!! thanks for all, big cheers
