Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I picked up the new Yamaha Dtxpress IV kit on friday from Electromusic 
in Doncaster. This is my first electronic kit and I will say I am 
mighty impressed. The kits sound fantastic and the quality of voices 
are certainly higher than I would of expected from what is after all a 
midrange kit. All the tweeking than can be done on the Xpress 3 with 
layering,tuning,reverb etc can also be done on the IV. The new module 
has the jog dial..(as seen on the Xplorer kit) which makes kit and 
settings changes much less fiddly.I have started to dabble with the 
user kits and have made my 'perfect' kit already.The transition from 
playing my acoustic kit to this seemed strange at first but within a 
day I'm already settling in with the rubber pads and compact 
sizes.This is so much fun I can't keep off it.
Anyone thinking about getting one .....Go for it !!!
