Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi Guys
I modified my hardware some time ago but never thought to post up the 
pics, so I've submitted some in the 'photos' section of the group. It 
struck me that, once your kit was set up as you like it, why not run 
the leads through the frame. Looks much tidier and quicker setting up 
etc...it all works very well. The downside is that the pads are pretty 
much 'unmoveable' - so i am limited in changing the physical positions 
of the pads etc.

Also, the bloody bass drum pad (V2)is a pain in the arse! It doesn't 
fit into a bag easily, as it's such a numb shape. So I took a hacksaw 
to it and created a pivot so the pad folds. Can't understand why Yamaha 
haven't already done this...if they have then my apologies. Hope this 
is all of some interest!
