Keith,
the delay is not at the beginning of the sound, but at the end. It 
sounds like loads of reverb or very long samples.
I tried to cut the hole thing and shorten the sounds, but it makes the 
sounds " synthetic".
It helps a little bit when I shift the basic note, but not for all samples.

Maybe I'm not realy clear but it's hard to explain.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
