Hello everyone! Im completely new to the drumming and percussion world and stumbled upon this awesome site in hopes i can learn a little more. I just recently bought a DTXpress III (still on the way) so im pretty excited about getting started. Ive played trumpet for about 5 years and guitar for about 3 so im pretty musically inclined but ive always wanted to play drums and finally was able to save up enough to get a set. Theres a lot of info to sift through here and ill keep at it but if anyone has some suggestions on Drum lesson DVD's or books or sites or just somewhere to get a jump start on drumming that would be awesome. Also, id like to record my drumming on PC eventually what software would be good to start on (price isnt really a problem)? Thanks ahead of time! -Chris
