Short time reader, first time poster :)
I'd just like to let you know that I've recently converted/modified an acoustic drum kit to an edrum kit using a Yamaha DTXpressII drum module & ddrum Pro Acoustic Triggers.
I've documented the whole process in the hopes my experiences might help anyone looking at doing same, or using the same products.
Topics include ddrum triggers anatomy, documentation & cabling, their use specifically with the DTXpressII, simple MIDI transfers, mesh heads, and home-made ecymbals I've purchased.
Hopefully something there will be useful to someone and my efforts won't be wasted :)
