Thanks Grant for answering my question about the 3 zone snrae pad.

I didn't properly introduce myself as a new member yet. I'm 44 years 
old, lived in Baltimore, MD USA all my life. I'm mainly a 
guitarist/bassist,play some keys occasionally, and do some drumming in 
my home recording.I have had my DT Express II for a week as of 
yesterday. I got it for night time recording and practice; I've had an 
acoustic drumkit for about four years now.

I've been in a bunch of bands over the years, have released a few CDs 
as a member of The Beltways from '94-'04, and I played bass on George 
Brigman's Rags In Skull CD that was just released this past March.
We are getting ready to record the follow up to that, and I may wind up 
doing some of the drumming, using the DT Express of course, as well as 
the bass tracks which are pretty much finished. 

On our last CD we had a guy contribute a couple drum tracks who used a 
Roland V kit, but used acoustic cymbals which we of course miked. Has 
anybody else recorded this way ? The result was pretty cool !
