Andy, I think I've gotten the high-hat figured out now. I've adjusted the screw on the pedal a bit for less play, and also changed the HH Sensitivity setting in the Voices menu (?) to get it more like my real HH (check p.47). Now I can get a half-open sound with less release of the pedal. Plays pretty nice now. Sharp open HH hits seem more responsive now also, though the pedal does sometimes miss them. I also changed the default closed HH sound...seemed much to tight for my ears. With my current setup, it does seem like I can 'cheat' a bit now, as I don't have to release the pedal anywhere near as much as I'd do with a real HH. I guess that's why some folks stay away from e-drums, as you can get to depend on the technology too much. Sure beats tuning the darn things! ;) Now my drums are always in tune :) Brett
