While on the subject of Y splitters (insert cable)I thought I'd bring this up. I ordered a Pintech Nimrod tubular pad and a Pintech 10" cymbal trigger pad from Musician's Friend. I received the Nimrod first and plugged it into the 9/10 input using a mono instrument cable, there was no velocity, however yesterday I received the cymbal pad and using an insert cable, I hooked it up to 9/10 along with the Nimrod and now both are velocity sensitive.
