We tried the wireless models, but both came back to the wired ones. My earbuds (etymotic) come out of the headphone jack of the Mackie 1604, and my drummer uses a small 8 channel mixer mounted on top of the DTX brain (perfect size). He takes a feed out of the Mackie and mixes it with the output from the DTX brain. That way he can get the mix in his earbuds that he wants. He still likes the Koss "plug" earbuds. I have offered to buy him some etymotic buds, but he likes his better. This is just throwing out an idea. But we never have feedback problems, and I use an AT 4050 condenser mic on stage. Good luck Jim
