Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi All

been noticing recently at practises with my band that I'm getting 
occasional missed triggers on my TP120 snare (attached to DTX 3 
Special).   

Think I've traced it to problems with the pad picking up general 
vibrations from the rest of the band - I can see low levels of input on 
the DTX display snare channel when I'm not playing anything, and I can 
feel vibrations by touching the pad either on the head or the 
underside.  So I'm assuming maybe the pad reject settings may be 
causing missed triggers perhaps?   

Has anyone else experienced anything similar and found a work around? 
Should I fiddle with the reject settings? I don't think I can dampen 
the head as you might on a real snare drum.  Or maybe I just need to 
get the rest of the band to turn down (bet they won't go for that!)
