Nick I have had dropout problems playing both the DTXpress & DTXtreme live. The best solutions I have found are: 1. Make sure you are not in the "firing line" of any bass heavy speakers. i.e. directly in front of/or close to the bass guitarist's cab or any subs etc. These are the biggest causers of dropouts in my experience. 2. If possible isolate the kit from the floor - I use gymnasium/judo mats covered by a board, this cuts out any vibration transmitted through a suspended floor - e.g. a stage! Useful if you have dancers or over enthusiastic singers & guitarists. I have seen isolation platforms that use tennis balls (INGENIOUS but heavy to cart around) 3. Make sure that none of the stands ar anything else that might cause vibration are in contact with the drum kit rack, pads, wiring etc. The trigger rejection settings are worth tweaking but I have found that eliminating vibration sources is the most effective treatment.
