I do not know much about midi, but I do know you cannot add sounds to
the DTXpress, nor can you upload them.  You can download midi files to
the DTXpress and upload them from the DTXpress to a computer.  As far
as I know the files will be .mid.  Hopefully someone else will chip in
with some real midi knowledge and a midi program to help you.
