Thanks Keith for the prompt reply... to be honest i was not thinking about "piezos" to trig my Acoustic Snaredrum.. but to a "CLAMP TRIGGER" (is this the correct name ??) the best example is the totally red type from DDrum.. do u remember it??... well.. why a trigger like this wont work with my DTXII module??.. coming back to "piezos"... it would be a real cheap solution.. and i could use 2 channels on my module.... but piezos works properly with DTXII module or i need to reprogram each channel once installed ?? Last thing.. WHERE TO STUCK PIEZOS ?? 1 directly under the mesh head and 1 on the wood board of the Snare??? sorry but it's my first attempt in this field.. :-) --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "Keith" <keith@...> wrote: > > Greetings, Gianluigi. > > Assuming you have made a snare with two piezos you have two choices - > use two inputs on your module or build a DTXpander circuit which will > convert the rim piezo signal into a switch signal.
