JD, I am not sure why you want to replace the battery on a DTXpress III. I have heard of very few needing changing even on a DTXpress I. I wouldn't risk changing it with the power on without having seen a circuit for the module - if you damage the module it would be an expensive mistake. You should be able to find your missing drivers on the net to back up your system, but unless you have some reason to believe the battery is dead I would leave it alone. If you have a multimeter you could possibly measure the voltage across it while in-situ if you are concerned about it. Keith.
