I have the DTXpress IV version2, and it is the only E-Kit I have ever owned. The snares all sound pretty good to me, some better than others, but nothing I couldnt fix with some adjustments. Many of my user kits utilize standard snare voices with no modifications or tuning changes on my part and I am very happy with them.
