Tried it on XP even though the cable says it works with Vista. Switched around the midi ports in case they were labeled wrong. Uninstalled the interface and re-installed it. It has to be a busted cable... it shouldn't be this difficult. I contacted the ebay seller and they told me they'll send out a new one asap. Didn't even say anything about me sending back mine... Hopefully this next one will fix my problems. If not, I haven't a clue what the problem could be. I don't know if there could possibly anything relevant here... but I keep getting this error when trying to start up midi monitor.
