I just tried plugging my DTXpress into my laptop with a cheapo MIDI interface and driving Reaper. It works but there is a huge latency in the sound from the computer after you hit the pads (time taken for the midi to get to the computer and produce a new sound). I guess there must always be latency, but I assume it can be lower than the 0.25 seconds I am hearing! Keith.
