RE: [DTXpress] What is the difference?

2010-02-15 by Damon, Rob

Other than a few upgraded sounds, they were only a few changes.
On the Dtxpress 1, the inputs 2, 6 and 7 were only 2 zone inputs.
On the Dtxpress 2, the inputs 2, 6,and 7 were upgraded to handle the 3 zone input pad TP-65S that had two rim switches.
The later version of the Dtxpress (3 & 4) added better sounds and support for the newer drum pads, cymbals, hihats.

We need Oldguydrummer to help here - I started with the DTXpress III. I know the DTXpress III had improved cymbal sounds over the II, but I don't know what changed from the I to the II.

Regards,

Keith.
