I think the main difference is the 135 behaves like a true hi hat with the 130 the movement is internal so the pad itself does not move up and down. I love it for that reason. It does tend to spin a little on the stand which is a trifle annoying and would probably piss me off if I was gigging it. Hope that helps and keep asking questions.
