Phil, You need to re-assign the midi notes in the DTXpress for some of the pads - the factory default doesn't match some of the standard midi notes. I can't remember exactly which ones but check what your sequencer expects and then change the DTXpress to suit. There is a global change in the util menu somewhere so that all the DTX kits will then work.
