Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

hello group,
              i was looking through the archives of this group ,and 
have noticed that some of the users from this group have succesfully 
hooked the dtxpress up to there pc. to access the gm voices that are 
in the module, now i was wondering what sound card was used in this 
application??? also i'm thinking that you would need to download some 
sort of driver as well ,and found this site,is this the type of 
driver i need for this type of application

what i want to do with my module is access the gm voices using a midi 
keyboard,and my question on this would be can i run the keyboard to 
the midi in on my module ,and then having my module linked to my pc 
via the host input on the back of the module get access to these such 
voices on my module??

any help that anyone can give me on any of these questions would be 
greatly appreciated.. thanks alot ,and i would like to wish all the
