well there are a few choices that come to mind when ,because i'm actually getting to the point of amplifying my kit as well,i've checked out the following, and they all seem to be very worthy of running a e-drum kit through, roland makes a few different models they have the kc-100,the kc-500,and the pm3 system as well i've seen them go for different $$'s on ebay, but the pm3 is the real pricey one,but even still tops out at about $550.-$650. on ebay, and with that you get the sub cabinet, and the 2 rack mountable monitors...you could also use certain keyboard amps, but they would have to be a good quality one to handle all the different voices that the e-drums produce, also you may want to consider a smaller pa system like what a dj would use,now i'm not talking about the dj's that have the mountain of a system, just your basic necessities that would get the job done ya' know?? hope this helps sam(otacon28) --- In DTXpress@y..., "Jay Welch" <jay@s...> wrote: > I would like to get an amp for my DTXpress. I am not using it for gigging, just playing around the house so I do not need loads of volume. I remember reading posts a while back suggesting keyboard amps are the way to go. Can I get a good amp for under $500 or should I expect to spend more? > > Thanks, > Jay
