Re: Snare Problem

2002-04-08 by otacon28us

it sounds like that it may be the gain is set too high or maybe the m-
velocity if these are set to high then a pad with the high settings
will most likely trigger randomnly when you're playing another pad
(had this happen with my concertcasts) a good trick is to push the
voice button on your module, and go ahead and start playing your snare
like you would normally play it,then watch the readout on your module
for what pad is being triggered while playing, then when you hear the
tom sound that you said you've been hearing you should know what pad
it's coming from, and then go in to the settings for that pad,and
reduce them(ex.gain,m-velocity,etc.) until you see which one works
out) or if you're using a stereo pad and the tom sound is being
produced from the snare pad ,and not another pad on your kit, you'll
need to eliminate the tom voice setting for the snare pad

hope this helps,

three kits I use a lot so I have not tested them all. Has any one
had this problem or know what it may be?
