Hi Gang Here's a lunkhead issue: I have dtxpress, midi cables (to hook up to gameport of sound card) and Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 running on a Win98 machine. I think they are "physically" connected properly but not even sure how to test my connections. What's a good first test to ensure things are functioning properly? First thing I really need to do is dump the data from the dtx brain on to my computer. I have filled up the usersongs with drum recordings so need to clear the brain memory. Could some kind soul please help me with the data dump. FYI--I searched the archive but could not find anything specific to data dumps...found a lot of issues around hooking up dtxpress to a computer but still not sure how to test if my connections are functioning properly.
