At the best of times extended warranty's are a waste of money, depending of
course on how much they charge you for the warranty. It all depends on what you
need to pay for peace of mind, but in the end the only thing "unaffordable" in
the kit if it breaks down is the module (which I presume you won't be hitting
with your sticks :>). Yamaha have a really sterling reputation with their
equipment, and although their service is not always perfect, compared to others
it is platinum.

How much are they asking for the extended warranty?
