Re: PCY 80s choke problems

In trigger setup, make sure 'Pad Type' is not set for PCY Crash. This
supports the choke. I had the same problem. There is no way to adjust
the thing when this pad type is used. BUT 'PCY Ride might do it , too.
I used 'TP Tom' for the setting, and as O remember some of the 'Misc'
pad types work ok too. That choke really sucks when you don't need it.
It rears its ugly head when trying to do a cymbal swell, if you're not
careful.

triggers to sound right but I think it is also triggering the choke
function at the same time. The sound cuts out before it should. It
also happens sometimes when I hit the pad. I am attempting to set up
the pad as a ride cymbal with the pad as a lite ride and the rim as
the bell but the choke seems to trigger and cuts off both of the
sounds.
