Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi Wally,

Ebay is one of the most prolific sources, and you will
see prices in the $500 - $700 range.  For comparitive
purposes, the new DTXpress II systems are about $1000,
and the upgraded DTXpress systems are in the $700 -
$800 range.  Most of what is on Ebay would be the
original systems, which value wise would be in the
$600 - $700 range, but you're not likely to find a new
one of this model (they were $1000 when new) .  

You can also find DTX (and DTX vesrion 2) systems on
Ebay, which is the next model up the Yamaha edrum food
chain from the DTXpress.   These will run in the $700
- $1000 range.
