Hi Aaron,

Congratulations on your new kit - and for that
perspective on how you came to the decision you did -
thanks.  I think it will help others that are
considering the same options as you did.   

I was also interested in your comments about the new
pads having a different texture to them - it has been
hard to pick up subtile details like that from the
limited information that seems to have come out of
Yamaha so far.
