Re: [DTXpress] Question about "cross-talk"

2002-09-06 by Walt

Hi Rolf,
I usually try to start with the rejection parameters,
and sometimes have to reduce the sensitivity as well.
I do not think there is any one right way to eliminate
it, it is trial and error. Another thing to check is
to make sure both pads are as securely attached to the
rack as they can be. Walt

Hi folks,

I'm sure you've had the problem of: if you
hit a pad, the pad next to it sounds as well
(apparently from the vibration of the pad that you're
striking). So, what is the best way to
eliminate that? There is pad sensitivity
setting in the brain, then there is the control on the
bottom of the pad, and there is rejection settings as
well. What needs to be changed to eliminate
that? One of them, all of them, or combination?

What have folks found that works the
best?

Any help greatly appreciated!
