more info on DTX press2

Hi,

I am a drum retailer from cornwall in the UK and we have recently
taken delivery of our first DTXpress2 kit.

My first impressions are that it is a big improvement on the first
version. Eg: The old snare rim was very tempermental and you had to
hit fairly hard to trigger it. The new 3 surface pad works much
better and it's a pleasure having 2 rims that work perfectly.

The drum pads seem slightly quieter and the cymbal pads softer.

The biggest improvement seems to be the bass pad, the surface has
plenty of give like a real low tuned head. and of course it will take
a twin pedal.

finally I do suspect that there has been some internal improvements
in the brain but I have only spent a few days with it so far. some of
the buttons have been moved on the front and there have also been
some changes to some of the preset kits and songs.

hope this helps

Dave
