Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi there
I am new to this group and to the DTXpress itself (only owned it for 
2 weeks)

I am trying to upload kits to the module but so far nothing is 
working (using DTXchange)I am using a good quality cable and think I 
am opening the MIDI out on my PC correctly (I am using Win XP)
I used the step by step instructions on the DTXpressions web site 
but I am lost..

HELP!!!
