Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Howdy,

I'm new to the group and about to order a DTXpress.
Should I go with the DTXpress or DTXpress II?

I played the DTXpress II tonight at Mars Music and was very happy 
with it. I feel it was more realistic then the Roland V-Club.

I can get the DTXpress on ebay for around $700, but no one is selling 
DTXpress II's on ebay. Is it worth the full $1000?

I'm yet to play on the DTXpress myself.
