Hi leffelejon,
I have just ordered a DTXPRESS II, and I shook hand for almost 1350 including a FP-700 pedal and an additional TP65 pad to Istanbul, Turkey.
The MSRP of the DTXPRESS IIis 1327 in Turkey, and you can make some bargaining of about 10 -15%. So the price drops to almost 1200.
Since Yamaha has discontinued DTXPRESS, I recommend you to push for the new version, plus it has some significant improvements (larger and more durable kick pad KP65, 3 zone snare drum TP65S, a 2 zone cymbal, more stable rack.)
check out this virtual mall in swedish, I found dtxpress II for 1019.00EUR + shipping.

You may want to check with Ed at drumbalaya.com to see if how much they would be with shipping to you, but you would have to find out about the taxes. Another option would be to look in the UK - you may save on shipping and taxes that way. As for what is different with the latest version, here is a description: http://www.giles.com/yamaha1/whatsnew1.html Walt --- leffelejon wrote: > im planning to buy dtexpress with theese pads > tp60x5, pcy60x2 > kp60, hh60 > RS60 > how much is a reasonable price... ive found it for > about 1400$. > there arent that many resellers over here (sweden), > maybe its > cheaper to buy the new dtexpress2 over the net.
