The KP60 was definitely a weak link. If you run a search on it in
the past posts, you'll find many complaints (mine among them) and
many suggestions. A lot of people went to the Pintech Veritkik or
the ConcertCast. I like the DrumTech Kick Pad. Needless to say,
reliable tracking and performance seems to cost a little more. As
always, in the States, or even in Europe if you haven't any closer
alternatives, Ed and Charlotte at Drumbalaya can steer you in the
right direction. They deal in new and used Pintech, Hart, ddrum,
Yamaha, and Roland.
