yeah i have looked into using them before, and was told by a few different e-drum techs at music stores in my area that they wouldn't work right with the yamaha modules.. just like some of the hihat pedals (ex. the pintech hyperhat) won't work with yamaha modules either, but they can be modified to work with these modules,so hopefully there can be something done with the visualites in the same sense so they would be able to be used with the yamaha modules as well, i've been looking for that right hihat trigger set-up for my kit for a few yrs now,and i'm still just using a tp-60 pad.. it would be great to get that acoustic feel though.. i saw a post on here a while back about the pintech zenbals ,but i'm not sure how it would work for a hihat plus you can't mount it like the visualites (there's only one cymbal with the pintech) also i had emailed peter hart a while back about what hart may be having available ,and he claimed that hart is putting out a newer model of hihat trigger cymbal as well , i guess it's totally different than what they have now, since they have alot of e-drum users that have expressed they expected it to be more than what it ended up being ,so hopefully some good things will come from that way too.. i mean i'm not biased it's not just the name on something it gotta do the job well too... i do agree that the sensor pack switch that visualites has with there hihats is definately an excellent concept, and if they can have it be able to work with yamaha gear then that would be a great bonus.... thanks for the post on here about it man' sam(otacon28) --- In DTXpress@y..., "liberatusvirus" <liberatusvirus@y...> wrote: > On the 21st, I posted a question to the group about the Visu-lite > high hat.
