there is no way to tell if a pad has got 1 or
2 voices other than going into the Voice section
and.....

I believe you will find a star after the voice name
which means that you have two sounds layered.
No star indicates a single voice. It will show you
this with either V1 or V2 displayed....

Yep, you're right. As I said in my message - I was
writing all that from memory - I was bound to get
something wrong...
