Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey guys!  I'm a newbie here to this board and I've been reading A 
LOT of stuff from you all and the wealth of information has helped 
me a whole lot!  I have never played an electronic drumset and don't 
even have an acoustic set right now.  (I sold mine like six years 
ago.  So I havent even touched a drum in years!)  Anyways, next 
month I plan on purchasing a DTXII and this is a major purchase for 
me because I'm a college student and I've been saving up for months 
and I need to make sure this is what I want.  Basically I guess I 
really need to try one out for myself right?  The problem is I live 
in small-ish town and they might not have the dtxII yet.  Would it 
be equally beneficial to try the DTXI out or even some other 
electronic set?  The reasons for going with the e-drums is because 
of my living conditions, the fact that I like all the sounds you can 
make, and I like messing with the computer stuff and midi stuff, and 
being able to play along with your CDs, so I'm pretty pumped about 
this set.  I'm just wondering what I'm gonna think when I try it 
out.  Like I've heard some samples and they're cool for the most 
part but I don't know about some the of the cymbal and crash sounds, 
but I know you can tweak them.  I'm just wondering if you guys think 
this set is right for me, someone who hasn't played in six years and 
wants to come back with something electronic.  Your opinions are all 
welcome!!  Thank you!!
