Hi realvast, Yes, you will need an input for it, and 9 or 10 will work fine. And the bell sounds are already in the module, so it is a matter of connecting the PCY10 to an open input, then assigning the voice you want to that input. If, for some reason, you change a pad from one type to another, the voice(s) you had assigned to the original pad will be assigned to the new pad unless you change them (you don't really assign voices to the pad, you assign them to an input).
