Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Ok...here is my setup on my computer..I'm having problems sending 
Midi..will explain after I tell you what equipment i use....here it 
is....

Win2000 Professional
Sblive Audio Card
Cakewalk Pro Audio 8.0
Stickmaster software drum tutor

I can get the dtxpress module to send/receive .syx info for my 
drumkits. But I can't get it to send any midi sound into my computer 
when I'm using either of my two software programs mentioned above. 
What am I not doing? Can someone go through all the steps? I've 
followed Stickmaster directions and still no sound occurs through the 
computer when I play my drums. Is there something I need to do to set 
up my midi on the computer to communicate with the dtxpress? I have 
my midi input set to SBlive Midi Port. My output ports available are 
these:SBlive SW Synth, SBlive Synth A, SBlive Synth B, SBlive 
midiport, and Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. I've tried all output 
ports and no success. The drum session tutor songs on Stickmaster 
play back ok..but I can't play along. Any advice?
